After-School Workshops
Learn about an amazing topic in a fun and interactive way with Safari Science every Tuesday and Thursday evening at our Oakville location.

School Presentations
Enjoy Safari Science at school with exciting workshops and performances about science, including reptiles, mammals, chemistry, simple machines, engineering and more.

Reptile Party
For the reptile fanatic. Meet, learn about and interact with amazing live creatures including a tortoise, tree frog, tarantula with a vartiety of snakes & lizards.

Critter Party
For the animal lover. Meet, learn about and interact with adorable live critters including a chilnchilla, hedgehog, hamster, rabbit, tortoise, gecko & more.

Science Party
For the experimenter. Be amazed as you watch and help out with amazing science experiements including dry ice wonders, fantastic flames and blasting vortexes.

Lego(R) Party
For the creative builder. First we will inspire your group with a 10 minute presentation about lego and building, then its off to building with our massice Lego(R) collection.

PA Day Schedule 2012-2013

Register for Safari Science day programs. Experience and learn about the world you live in including outer space, animals, dinosaurs, technology, building and more.

Regular Hours: 9am to 4pm, extended care available from 7am to 6pm

Regular Hours Tuition: $59 per child, extended care is extra*

Extended care is between 7:00am and 8:55am and again between 4:05pm and 6pm. All extended care fees will be billed after camp has been completed

Overview

Single Morning / Afternoon or Full Days are available every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during the summer. Mornings are from 9-12 and are always Workshops while afternoons are from 1-4 and are always Stations. Field Trips are available every Wednesday & Friday. More info below.

Workshops (Mon, Tue & Thurs Mornings)

Workshops are a unique learning experience that kids love because they are so much fun, and parents love because of how much their children learn and remember. Workshops are topic specific so choose based on your interest, or use the opportunity to discover new interests.

Stations (Mon, Tue & Thurs Afternoons)

Spend time exploring and discovering your interests at a variety of Safari Science stations. Station time also has group games and activities incorporated into the programming.

Stations include:
Builders (Lego, Technics, Cliks, and more)
Reptiles (Snakes, lizards, tree frogs, tortoises and more)
Critters (Rabbits, chinchillas, hedgehogs and more)
Gadgets & Contraptions (Build, invent and use fascinating gadgets & contraptions)
Science Lab (Choose, conduct & invent science experiments)
Field Trips
Visit exciting destinations with Safari Science feild trips this summer. From the great out doors to museums and other fascinating places.

Summer 2012 Workshop Schedule (Summer Camp)

Safari Science Workshops are an exciting learning experience for children. Each workshop consists of a entertaining and informative lesson followed by a group game and hands on activities. You will be amazed at how much your child will learn in three short hours.

July 3rd - Ancient Technology
Discover the ways of old when technology was catapults, pulleys, wagons. Learn about how animals were used to power technology. Build a catapult for this workshop and play "Castle Siege" with your creation to have fun and win prizes! Register Now

July 5th - Future Technology
What will the world be like in 5, 10, 50 or even 100 years. Learn about the future, what we know will be a reality and what may be. Play with some fun gadgets and learn how they work, plus you get to bring home your very own Energy Tube. Register Now

July 9th - Things that Fly
What can fly? How do they fly? How many different ways are there to fly? Have fun learning about flight and lean how to make amazing things that can fly. Register Now

July 12th - Flying Animals

Dry Ice Fun
