Borax is a detergent that you can get form the grocery store, you will find it in the laundry detergent area. Borax is a great eco friendly product that your grandparents probably used back in the day.
Using less borax creates a runny stickier slime, more borax creates something you can play in a more enjoyable fashion. Get creative and try out different amounts of borax to see the different consistencies of slime you get, will you discover the perfect recipe?
When you mix the solution of borax and water with the water and glue mixture, the goal is to remove the solids from the liquid sooner than later. You don't want the water to start mixing in with your slime because it will get runny.
At first the slime will be very wet and runny, after a few minutes it will dry out a bit and be nicer to play with. Try to figure out fun games that you can do with your slime!
After you make the slime a few times and you want to try out something different, try adding shaving cream or baby powder, it makes it feel a bit different, but you surly enjoy the fresh scented slime!
